Both personal and non-personal information collected is protected according to the highest privacy and data protection standards adopted worldwide. IQubits project consortium operates the website www.iqubits.eu. Aarhus University, project coordinator serving as data controller, resides at Nordre Ringgade 1, 8000 Aarhus, Denmark.

This privacy notice governs the website www.iqubits.eu and informs you about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our services (“Service”) and the choices you have selected for your data. This privacy notice only covers information collected through the IQubits website and via direct communications between you and IQubits consortium, and it does not cover any information collected at any other website, application or other communication methods such as when you call or write us, or through any other different mean.

1. Data collection methods

We use data collection methods and technologies on IQubits website to collect data for the purposes of different transactions with you, such as sending newsletters, access to some online contents, including those protected by password, registration to events, and gathering analytics on website traffic.

While using IQubits website, we may ask you to provide us personal data that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Personal Data may include, but is not limited to full name, job title, areas of expertise, employer, mail address, phone number, fax number, email address, emails, messages, photos, images, biography, event attendance, publications, presentations and videos. Within newsletters and intranet, we use your data such as address, login details, and other information that our visitors enter into forms completed and submitted through our website.

Within our content management system (CMS) database, we may use your data such as full name, job title, employer, email address, phone number, fax number.

Within the private area for IQubits members and guests we may use your data such as full name, job title, employer and email address.

The data collected from you are stored in our CMS database storage. By submitting your personal data, you agree that we store your personal data. We will take all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that your data are treated securely and in compliance with this privacy policy. Your Personal Data stored on IQubits database will not be transmitted or disclosed to any third person and will only remain in the IQubits database.
