IQubits has reached the finish line!
After five years of super-intense, pioneering and exciting research activities, the EU H2020 FET Open project IQubits, a most advanced frontier research project of the European Commission on Quantum Technologies, has reached its end date.
This is a time also to look back from the very high peaks reached with many the scientific and technological achiements by IQubits, with its unique and visionary radically-new ground-breaking findings toward the implementation of monolithic Silicon quantum processors in state-of-the-art scaled foundry technologies, accellerating the quantum technology leap from lab to fab to make available scalable quantum processors operating at acceptable cryogenic temperatures in the near future.
We would like to thank our industrial partners and collaborators, the Advisor Board Members, for their extraordinary interest, support and contribution to the success of the project activities. The Consortium of Partners and Coordinator have worked very hard to address the major scientific and technological challenges of such a tremendous and exciting enterprise toward the implementation of scalable monolothic quantum processors, and have shown to be “unstoppable” in securing the reach of unprecedented peaks of the research and innovation in quantum computing world-wide, despite the pandemic and other disruptions.
These have opened to radically new quantum technology fundamental developments that will be the pathway for the future developments.
IQubits has officially reached the finish line, but despite the many findings, achievements and new high peaks of knowledge, the scientific research IQubitsactivity continues to secure its full impact and dissemination throughout the world scientific and industrial communities.
We look forward to the final review meeting with the European Commission officer and experts on the 25th of June 2024 at AGH in Krakow.
