Prof. Zito has present ed the progress made to date toward the implementation of monolithic quantum processors to the European Commission

Prof. Domenico Zito (AGH) gave a presentation to the European Commission - Directorate General (DG) Communications Networks, Content and Technology (CONNECT) about some major progress made by the research carried out in IQubits toward the implementation of monolithic quantum processors in CMOS foundry technology.

The presentation addressed some of the fundamental challenges toward the implementation of Silicon monolithic quantum processors and reported some innovative integrated quantum devices, together with control and readout circuits in FDSOI CMOS operating at cryogenic temperatures. These are key enabling building blocks that have drawn the attention of the academic and industrial community worldwide, opening the pathway for the semiconductor quantum technology leap from lab to fab.
